Trainee Weekend for BIP Trainees Only – The Use of the Double and related Techniques
This weekend is open only to registered BIP trainees (we have four such weekends each year). This workshop will focus on the technique of doubling in psychodrama. There are a number of variations to this core technique, such as classical doubling, brief doubling, the containing double and the body double. We will explore the uses for doubling, and when doubling may be helpful or less helpful. We will also explore the origins and theory behind the technique. This weekend will include psychodramas, theoretical input and processing. Trainees will direct. Venue: Woodbridge House, Moseley, Birmingham. With Susie Taylor and Clark Baim.
